I didn't knew much about the city except for the GSRTC Bus routes and Alkapuri where I had been to every Sunday since last 2 years for TIME classes. But now it was gonna change! My room partner Yagna and me who were seleced in TCS, completed the TCS Training at Trivendrum and were placed at TCS, Baroda.
We both were very Happy as it was Yagna's Home City and 2 hrs from my home. I'd already made a few plans before joining the company and had even accomplished a few. For example, I bought a new Digital cum Analog watch with large Dial on it and a brand new Tablet PC.. Don't remember of which company. Now a new bike and a new Home was left, where I was planning to call my Mom and Grand Parents to live with me.
Yagna's office time was 11 am and mine was 2 pm. So I told Yagna to join me in search of the new house till 10:30 am and then I'll manage alone. I had an address of a house to see which was near TCS building only. So we decided to go their first from where Yagna could then go to the company directly.
We decided to walk. I don't know from where we started walking and where we met but we were togather. On the way an Underbridge came. And it was not Baroda's own, it was Nadiad's Underbridge. The same one which is near Shreyas(Cine Max) Theatre. Yagna and me started approaching the Underbridge through the downward slopy road and reached exactly under the bridge. The road was very dirty(as usual) with stagnant water all over and the footpath was too narrow and high. So we prefered walking on road only.
As we moved ahead I noticed two girls walking and coming from the opposite direction. They walked on the left hand side of the road while we were walking on the right side. Both of them looked elder than us. The right girl was fully covered with all those Scarf stuff (the same look as a terrorist girl driving a two wheeler). She was wearing Jeans and T-Shirt. She seemed to be going for a vehicle ride soon. The left girl had just covered her head with her White Dupatta(like the girls do in Temple) which suited the best with her Blue Salwar Kamiz. They were talking and singing some song lines and then laughing repeatedly.
And when the distance reduced enough that we could see each other, I realized that I've seen the girl with Salwar Kamiz Ssmewhere. She was Shyna didi, elder sister of Lolipop(I call one of the my best friends by this name). I had come in contact with Shyna didi just few days before on Facebook. Lolipop shifted to Baroda after our 12th got over. Last I met Shyna did was on one of the Sundays I visited Lolipop's place after my classes. She and Lolipop were playing Tennis.
I didn't react even though I knew her. But later when they both saw us Shyna didi gave a face expression as if she was confused whether she knew me or not. Between this we crossed each other and I turned a bit backwards while walking ahead to see that Shyna didi were talking to the other didi in a lower voice. Then thw other didi turned back and saw me. I gave a nodding smile in return. Immediately after my smile she spoke out.
'Yes Shyna! You got him correct! He is Ishan.' I heard that and my smile widened. I stopped moving ahead. And Yagna too!
'Hi! Ishan.', she continued. I just raised hand and hesitated a bit as I couldn't yet recognize her. But I and yagna(who were smiling) moved towards them.
We reached there and I said, 'Hello! Shyna Didi! How are you?'
'I am fine.', she replied.
'Hello!',I said to the other didi.
'Hello! Ishan! How are you?', Shyna didi said as the other didi removed all her Scarf stuff from her face. Then I recognized her that she was also Lolipop's another elder sister Aashvi didi. She was elder to Shyna didi also. Last time I saw her was in 5th or 6th standard. Then I only saw her photographs uploaded by Shyna didi in her facebook profile recently.
'I am fine. How come you here in India?'. Aashvi didi had settled in America or somewhere with her husband.
'Ya! We've come here for 2 months.'
'Ok. This is my Friend Yagna! He is a localite and college friend.'
'Hi!', both didis in Chorus.
'Yagna, these are my friend's sisters!'
'Hello!', Yagna replied, smiled and kept mum as before.
'Ishan, Why aren't you coming home these days?', Shyna didi asked.
'Didi, my classes are over now.'
'Ok! Then howcome you are here today?', she continued.
'We've got job in TCS, Baroda. And today is our first day.'
'O Good! But were not you going to do MBA first?'
'Yes didi! But I wasn't prepared for it.'
'Ok! So having any talks with Rinku?'
'Yes! Yes! Just few days before when his exams were going on.'
'Ya! He has become very studious also these days. Hai na didi?'
Aashvi didi nodded.
'Of Course! He has to be more serious in studies. After all he is gonna be a doctor soon!', I said and Shyna didi's phone started ringing.
'Hello!', she said and heard for some time.
'Arey! Yes Bhai! We are coming! We met Ishan here.', she said and again heard for sometime.
'Ok! Ok! We are coming!', She said and hanged up the phone.
'Ok didi! You leave. You seem to be getting late.'
'O no! It was Bhai! And was telling me to bring you home as he has not seen you since long.', She was talking about their cousin elder brother.
'Even I would like to come didi! But not now some other time. And tell Bhaiya that he was looking good in the photographs you uploaded.'
'Ya! Sure! But do come ok! It's not that you have to come home only when Tinku is there. You can come anytime. And bring your friend too!'
'Ya sure! I will.'
'Ok then Bye!', Shyna didi said.
'Bye', Aashvi didi said.
'Bye', only I was left to say that as you know Yagna(Shy) won't say.
The girls moved their way and we turned back to our way on the left side of the road. (Before it was right)
'Your which friend's sisters were they?', Yagna asked on the way.
'Arey you don't know him. He is my very good friend from school. Ok. I think that you should leave for the company now. It's around 10:30'
'And you'll go alone?'
'Yes! Yes! You go.'
'Ok then Bye! Meet you in the afternoon!', he said and took left for the company after the underbridge.

The gate was closed. It was large and black in colour. It was of the house's triangle type roof shape with long vertical iron rods seperated close enough that even Cats can't pass through the gaps. And to my amaze there was a very old Monkey with long beards(which showed it's age) sitting on a chair near the gate in the dress of a gatekeeper. It was more like a human but it was a monkey. It didn't speak anything just opened the gate for me and I went inside.
Next I don't know from where but I was in the large common Compound of the Flats. There wasn't any living being anywhere there. And I don't know how but I was sitting in a Lorry and roaming in the Compound to search for the address I had. And only God knows who was pushing that Lorry. While I was roaming I saw another Human-Monkey(younger than the previous one) approaching towards me.
'What do you want?', he asked me.
'I am searching for this address. Can you help?'
'O Yes! Are you someone's Guest?'
'O no no! I am searching for a place to live.'
'Ok Fine! You have only one flat to see?'
'Yes! Why? Do you know some more here?'
'Yes! I'll show you. Come.'
'By the way who are you?'. I didn't dare to ask about why did they look like that.
'O sorry! I forgot to introduce myself. I am M. Ramu. I am watchman over here. Come.' While following I was still on the Lorry(it would be controlled by my mind). And on the way I thought 'M' would be for 'Monkey'.
'Ahh.. Ramu! Why can't I see anyone over here?'
'Sir, these are new flats. Thats why.'
Ramu took me to show the address I had. The place was so dirty that no one can say that those were new flats.
'Well can u show me other flats?'
'Yes! Come.'
And I don't how but in the next scene I found myself in a Small Army like Tent, sitting on a chair in front of Lorry, on which my Desktop computer was kept. I was doing some confidential company work. So can't tell you. And after sometime when I heard some voices, I peeped out of my tent to see many Human-Monkeys roaming around in the compound. They were too many. It was like that whole species was there in that compound. They were all of different ages. Some small children too! There wasn't any single only Human like me. They didn't even bother my tent right in the middle of their compound. But I was very frightened seeing the scene outside...and DREAM OVER..My eyes open!
